Markdown versions of documentation pages are available by appending `.md` to page URLs; this page is available as [Markdown](https://support.epm-resort.eu/en/rules-and-policies/general-terms-and-conditions-of-sales.md). # GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALES These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTC) are entered into, on the one hand, by **EPM United**, a non-profit organisation governed by the local law of Alsace-Moselle, which operates the online shop at [shop.epm-resort.eu](https://shop.epm-resort.eu/), and, on the other hand, by any natural or legal person wishing to make a purchase via the shop at [store.epm-resort.eu](https://store.epm-resort.eu/), hereinafter referred to as ‘*the Player*’. ### Article 1 - Subject matter of the contract The subject matter of the contract is to set out the contractual provisions between **EPM United** and *the Player*, and the conditions applicable to any purchase made via our online shop. The purchase of a good or service via this online shop implies the Player’s unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. ### Article 2 – Products and services offered The key features of the products and services offered by **EPM United** are set out on our online shop at [store.epm-resort.eu](https://store.epm-resort.eu/). Each product is accompanied by a description and its price. The services offered by **EPM United** are in no way affiliated with Microsoft, Mojang Studios, Europa-Park GmbH or any subsidiary of the Mack Group. ### Article 3 - Fees The prices shown in the shop are in euros, inclusive of all taxes (where applicable). **EPM United** reserves the right to change its prices at any time. However, the price charged will be the one in force on the day *the Player* confirms their order. ### Article 4 – Order *The Player* places an order via the online shop. To confirm their purchase, they must: 1. Register on the online shop, 2. Top up their account with virtual currency, 3. Select the desired item(s), 4. Confirm the purchase and receive their order. Placing an order constitutes acceptance of the prices and descriptions of the items available. **EPM United** reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order placed by *a Player* with whom there is an outstanding dispute regarding payment for a previous order. ### Article 5 – Payment Terms Payment is due at the time of ordering. Payments are processed via third-party service providers: * **PayPal UK Ltd**\ [https://www.paypal.com/uk](https://www.paypal.com/)\ 5 Fleet Place\ London, UK EC4M 7RD * **StarPass** by **Tractial** (BD Multimedia)\ [https://www.tractial.com/en](https://www.bdmultimedia.fr/)\ Head office: Paris, France\ Company Number: 329 252 348 * **Tebex Limited**\ [https://www.tebex.io](https://www.tebex.io/)\ Head office: 201 Haverstock Hill, Second Floor C/O Fkgb, London, England, NW3 4QG\ Email: \ Tebex Limited is a company registered in England and Wales under company nummer 08129184.\ VAT number: GB167189962 The security of transactions is the responsibility of these service providers. **EPM United** cannot be held liable for: * a refusal to pay, * a disruption to service provided by service providers, * or a case of force majeure. ### Article 6 – Legal capacity By confirming their order, *the Player* certifies that: * **they are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract**; * or, if they are a minor, they have the express authorisation of their legal guardian, who guarantees compliance with these Terms and Conditions. Any use by a minor is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian. ### Article 7 – Delivery of products As the products on offer are intangible goods (digital content and services), they are deemed to be made available immediately upon confirmation of the order, unless otherwise stated. The delivery times quoted are for guidance only. ### Article 8 – Liability **EPM United** is bound only by an obligation of means.\ We cannot be held liable for: * disruptions relating to the internet (outages, data loss, viruses, unauthorised access, etc.), * any issues relating to payment service providers (see [Article 5](#article-5-payment-terms)) * or any event of force majeure beyond our control. ### Article 9 – Cancellation and Refunds In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of intangible digital content that can be consumed immediately. Consequently, no refund may be claimed once the digital service or product has been delivered to *the Player*. However: * if the payment has been confirmed but the product has not been delivered, the Player may exercise their right of withdrawal within 14 days. * If a refund is approved, it will be issued in the form of virtual currency credited to the Player’s account within a maximum of 30 days. * No refunds in real money (euros, dollars, etc.) will be granted. ### Article 10 – Personal data The personal data collected whilst using the shop is necessary for processing orders.\ In accordance with the amended Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and the GDPR, all Players have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of their data.\ These rights may be exercised by writing to: . ### Article 11 – Applicable law and competent court These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law and the local law applicable in Alsace-Moselle. Any dispute relating to their interpretation and/or enforcement shall fall within the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Colmar. ### Article 12 – Glossary * *Online shop*: refers to the website hosted at [store.epm-resort.eu](https://store.epm-resort.eu/). * *The player*: A player is any natural or legal person who uses the website or any of the services offered by EPM United. version 08/2026 · Subject to change.
