📃SERVERS RULES AND REGULATIONS

for players on the Europa-Park & Rulantica servers (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "player")

Preamble

Welcome to EPM Adventure Resort, a day full of discovery and awe-inspiring experiences at Germany's largest theme park awaits you. The whole EPM team wishes you an enjoyable visit and memories that may last a lifetime.

We would however like to point out our rules and regulations which apply on all of EPM's premises (park and hotels). We request that you please act carefully and with consideration; above all this means to take responsibility for yourself and for others. Don't forget the elementary rules of politeness. Furthermore, we ask you to respect and adhere to the following park rules and regulations, which form the basis of your visit on our server.

1. Connection

1. The player declares having read and accepted these servers rules.

2. Players under the age of 11 must obtain parental consent before connecting to the server.

3. Players can only connect to our servers if they have an official Minecraft account, and only one issued by Minecraft.net or Xbox.com. VIPs are subject to the same rule.

4. Please use a suitable Minecraft nickname and a decent skin.

5. The use of several accounts with the same IP address(1) is prohibited. If you connect with a second account, you will be systematically banned from the server.

6. If members of your family wish to join our server, and they are connected to the same network, you can visit us using a single account. If a member of your family has been banned from the server by IP, any other account connected to the same network will be automatically banned. These restrictive measures have been put in place to guarantee the security of our infrastructure. If you think this is a mistake, please contact an administrator on our Discord server. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for the use of your Minecraft account. You are responsible for any penalties related to your Minecraft account on our servers if it has been used illegitimately.

7. The use of VPN(2) is strictly forbidden for security reasons. If you are banned for using a VPN and this is a mistake, please contact an administrator on our Discord server.

2. General Safety

1. The orders of our staff have to be followed in your own interest.

2. All players are asked to behave correctly and appropriately. Disturbance of the public order, inappropriate behaviour, distur-bance of other players or of the park operation, verbal, abuse, defamation, defiance of the park rules, etc. may prompt EPM to take appropriate action, such as a ban from the server, criminal prosecution or similar measures. EPM reserves the right to eject players without compensation whose behaviour suggests that they endanger or disturb themselves or other players.

3. For the safety of our players, it is strongly discouraged to talk/share/distribute/express personal information (political opinion or religious affiliation) about themselves or another player.

4. All players must wear a correct and suitable skin. Skins explicitly showing nudity or of a sexual nature are forbidden. Wearing a swimming costume skin after a visit to our aquatic universe is exceptionally authorised.

5. Any use of cheat(3) software is strictly prohibited.

6. No player may have more than one Minecraft account connected to the server from the same IP address(1).

7. The distribution or sharing of Internet links (URLs) for advertising purposes is prohibited.

8. It is forbidden to impersonate a member of our team. If you witness identity theft, please contact a member of our team as soon as possible.

9. It is forbidden to spam the pressure plates (used to activate a system).

10. It is strictly forbidden to go outside the map. The map is bounded by walls at least three blocks high, so if you accidentally find yourself outside the map without having explicitly told us, you will be severely punished.

3. Using the facilities and rides on Europa-Park server

1. The facilities on Europa-Park server are at your disposal for as long as you observe the rules of their use.

2. Opening times of rides, attractions, shows, and other facilities might be differet form the opening times of the park. Breakdowns of attractions or shows due to faults or other circumstances do not entitle the holder to a full or partial refund of a paid VIP grade.

3. In the event of heavy influence, latencies caused by a large number of players or other extreme technical conditions, EPM shall be entitled to shut down the operation of individual or all rides and facilities in order to preserve our infrastructure as a whole. You will not be entitled to a full or partial refund of any VIP rank purchased.

4. Certain rides, attractions, shows, or other facilities are open only during certain time of the season or may be closed due to construction or operational or organisational reasons. Such closures may occur without prior notice.

5. Technical or organisational outages of individual rides, attractions, shows, or other facilities shall not result in an entitlement to a full or partial refund of any VIP rank purchased.

6. Players are required to check their minimum hardware requirements for using our attractions. Under no circumstances will we be liable for any material damage caused by malfunctions in the game.

7. Players undertake to check their hardware configuration before connecting, to find out about the minimum requirements for playing Minecraft, to familiarise themselves with the rules of access and use as well as the directives and instructions of our on-site team, and to respect them.

8. Please be especially careful when entering and exiting rides, attractions, shows, or other facilities. Orders issued by our staff must be followed - failing to do so or maliciously ignoring an order will result in suspension from using any all rides in the park. You will not be able to claim any damages in this case.

4. Map copying and chat

1. It is strictly forbidden to copy the map, as the server is protected by copyright (n°44A42L5) and intellectual property rights. As a result, theft, plagiarism, illegal downloading or unauthorised uploading by the server management is punishable under French law.

2. Players who "attempt" to copy maps will also be heavily punished.

3. Please do not spam the chat and avoid abusive capitalization.

4. Messages containing only capital letters are considered as spam.

5. Advertising

The distribution and display of advertising throughout our server is only permitted with the prior authorisation of our server management. This also applies to conducting public opinion polls and taking counts. Advertising and announcements for other Minecraft servers and individual ideas are prohibited within the area of the park and inside all buildings, rides etc. and will be punished in each case with a mute, tempban or banishment.

6. Video recordings, filming and screenshots

1. Insolar as film and photo recordings are made in EPM Adventure Resort for advertising or for other reasons, the corresponding areas or attractions are marked accordingly or this is easily visible. Every visitor is free to avoid these areas during the production period of the respective recordings.

2. Players are permitted to take their own photographs and films for private purposes, provided that other players are not impaired or disturbed by them. Professional photo and film shoots for commercial purposes as well as live streaming via all online platforms, on the other hand, are only permitted with prior written permission. 3. If you post a video on a video hosting website such as YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo or a social network such as Facebook, X, Instagram or TikTok, please explicitly indicate the full address of the server (play.epm-resort.eu) and the version (1.20.4) in the description of your video.

7. Ban and expulsion

1. We reserve the right to investigate players suspected of breaking our rules.

2. No refund of an item on the online shop (ranks are considered as an item) will be given if a penalty is applied to you on our server.

3. The server is authorised, at its sole discretion, to expel from its premises any player who violates these rules.

8. Lexicon

(1)IP address: An Internet Protocol address is a number that identifies each device connected to an Internet network. (2)VPN: Virtual Private Network is a tool used to create a virtual private network in order to modify the IP address of the user who uses it so that he cannot be located. This tool is generally used to protect against the dangers of the Internet. However, when a malicious user uses it, it can have serious consequences for the victims, which is why we have decided to ban it for security reasons on our server. (3)Mute: mute is a command used to prevent a player from expressing themselves verbatim in the chatroom. The player's permission to send messages in the server chat is then withdrawn. (4)Cheat: cheat refers to all the means used to modify the rules of the game in order to gain an unfair advantage during a game. The player using these means is called a cheater.
